Welcome to Xavier University! We are pleased that you have selected our institution to pursue your higher education and professional goals. The Office of Orientation, a unit of the Division of Student Services, housed in the Center for Student Leadership and Service is here to provide you with ongoing support and services to help new Xavierites and their families as they transition to Xavier University. We want to ensure that all new students and their parents begin to connect to the intellectual, cultural, and social facets of campus life. We hope that you find our website informative as we are anticipating your arrival!

During Orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and student leaders. From events such as the Orientation Soirée to a fun bike ride through the city of New Orleans, we strive to provide the best possible introduction of Xavier University of Louisiana. Before you enjoy these exciting events, you must complete several processes so you are settled for the first day of school.

We have designed this website to share the tools necessary to make the most of your New Student Orientation experience. Feel free to explore all of the resources and external links listed to the right of this webpage. Our Orientation staff and student committee work year-round to ensure that your welcome to Xavier is a memorable experience! We look forward seeing you, and again, welcome to Xavier University!
