Typhanie Jasper-Butler


Mrs. Jasper-Butler is a native of New Orleans, LA and currently serves as the Director for the Center for Student Leadership & Service. She has worked in various positions in the Center for over 15 years. Mrs. Jasper-Butler is a Xavier Alum, and holds a Master of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland University College.

Kim Hutchings

Assistant Director for Student Community Engagement

Mrs. Hutchings is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the advisor of M.A.X. and host various community service opportunities for students, campus-wide. Mrs. Huthcings is a Bethune-Cookman alumn and holds her Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University.

Kendra Warren

Outreach Coordinator

Ms. Warren is a native of New Orleans, LA. She is primarily responsible for securing meaningful service sites for Service-Learning and assisting faculty and students in successful implementation of Service-Learning into their classroom curriculum. Ms. Warren is a Dillard University Alum and holds a degree in Mass Communications.

D. Jamar Simmons

Assistant Director for Leadership and Transition Programs

Mr. Simmons is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He is primarily responsible for leadership development and training of student leaders and for a comprehensive program that assists new students and their families in their transition to the university. Mr. Simmons is a proud alumni of Clark Atlanta University and also holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Mercer University.
